The Fair Furniture Network (FFN) is a Non-governmental organization (Ngo) for the promotion of Fair Trade in the Furniture Industry in developing countries.
With fair trade small- and medium sized manufacturers in developing countries getting better opportunities on the world market.

A few Fair trade principles are:
- Good working environment and fair salaries to be paid to the workers.
- Banning of child labor.
- Fair production prices being paid to the manufacturer and the workers.
- Transparency of the business throughout the whole production- and sales chain.
- Care for the environmental aspects of the production.

The new head office of FFN will be temporary located in Semarang – Central Java; during 2009 the office will move to Bali.

Since FFN is a new organization founded in 2008, we are looking for a:

* Job description:
* - As assistant to the Manager you carry out daily tasks like correspondence, email, schedule meetings and other secretarial work.
* - Keeping up to date data-base, administration (as well finance), documentation and responsible for stock keeping office materials and promotion material.
* - General secretarial work


* Candidate must possess at least a Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Marketing, Secretarial, Journalism, Law, Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
* Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
* Full-Time positions available.
* Applicants should be Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.

* Profile of the candidate:
* - Age 24-30 years. female/male.
* - Minimum 2 years experience as secretary.
* - Enthusiastic for the idea of Fair Trade.
* - Socially engaged mentality.
* - Accurate and organized.
* - A hands-on mentality.
* - Fast learning.
* - Excellent knowledge of English and preferable French, Spanish and/or Chinese (Mandarin).
* - Able to work under pressure and working with deadlines.
* - Holding a valid passport.
* - Willing to travel sometimes inside Indonesia and later on as well International.
* - Having own local transportation.
* - Start working in Semarang but during 2009 the office will move to Bali.
