LOGISTICS ASSISTANT

Responsibilities

*Coordinating with barge/ ship operators to execute local and export deliveries of CPO, PKO, PK, PKE and other refined products such as RBD Olein, Stearin etc.
*Negotiating and finding the best possible logistical arrangements for planned shipments
* Working with bulking facility owners, freight forwarders etc. to arrange shipments
*Liaising and maintaining relationships with port officials, government officials, customs, barge manufacturers, law enforcement officials etc. in Indonesia and Malaysia
*Ensuring timely dispatch of CPO and related commodities and carrying out all documentation related activities for local deliveries as well as export sales
*Assisting head of logistics in carrying out tasks related to export sales such as export documentation, liaising with export customers etc.

Person Profile:
*4-5 years experience in the field of logistics operations
* Academic qualification related to logistics management will be as added advantage
*Fluency in local language and reasonable command in English is essential
*Experience in logistics pertaining to agro related commodities
*Experience in handling CPO shipments within and out of Indonesia will be a definite advantage
*Understanding and reasonable level of experience in procurement, transportation, stock control and insurance aspects
*Excellent relationship building and communications skills

Sales Logistics Assistant

Responsibilities:

* The purpose of the jobholder is to assist the Sales Operations Manager in regards to Sales logistics operations for the delivery of goods and the arrangement of logistic facilities and other outsourced services to ensure product delivery as per contracts.

Requirements:

* Male
* Experience 2-4 years at related position
* Observe physical loading/unloading at respective ports.
* Monitor the performance of sales contract to ensure the minimization of risks from company
perspective.
* Follow up and arrange barges and other shipping arrangements.
* Arrangement of loading executives to supervise and observe the physical loading/unloading
of products at respective ports.
* Follow up and ensure receipt of required loading /unloading reports QC certification/reports
on delivered quality.
* Coordinate and attend to resolution of quality / quantity claims as per sales contracts, thus
coordinate with external quality surveyors.
* Prepare and circulate all required management information reports by developing and
maintaining appropriate systems to maintain sales & logistic details, thus circulate
daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales performance.
* Develop and maintain database of logistics service providers to obtain maximum flexibility of
product deliveries.
* Follow up on shipping arrangements of barges.
* Negotiation of rates, service standards and ensure the maximum cost benefit and optimum
service levels by ensuring the availability of cost effective transportation for sales volumes.
