Industrial Relation Officer

Competency :

    Develop and administer policies on different employee classifications and related matters
    Maintain good relationships between employers and employees
    Examine and attempt to resolve industrial disputes and grievances in the workplace, e.g. an industrial relations officer may act as the management representative when discussions are being held with trade unions about the effects of technological change on the duties of employees in a manufacturing workshop
    Study and interpret relevant industrial legislation (the laws which are formulated by parliament to control industrial practices in the workplace)
    Advise others on the proper procedures for carrying out negotiations and on the special regulations relating to employment and salary agreements
    Conduct research into particular industrial relations issues (e.g. the effects of changes in work practices on productivity)
    Represent an industrial group as a representative before industrial tribunals

Requirement

    Bachelor Degree in Law from reputable university with min. GPA 3.00
    Having min. 6 years experience in the same field.
    Able to operate Ms. Office
    Able to work under pressure and have a good communication skill.

Responsibilities:

    To handle land compensation matters as per company and government policies in consultation with administration assistant manager and government departments
    To provide best solution for company in land compensation matters, including but not limited to:
    Survey and verifying areas involving land compensation claims.
    Plan and carry out a systematic process to inventory issues, party related, financial implication, and risk encountered in resolving land compensation in the identified areas.
